Pelicano Inn Playa Del Carmen - Beachfront Hotel

We chose to stay at this place during our visit to Playa del Carmen to explore the nearby attractions on foot. The beachfront location was the highlight of our stay, allowing us to easily access the beautiful sandy shores and enjoy the ocean views. Despite some minor inconveniences mentioned by other guests, we found the staff to be friendly and the rooms clean and adequate for our short holiday. Overall, we had a decent experience and would consider staying here again for a quick beach getaway.

Despite some maintenance issues, this beachfront hotel offers a good location in Playa del Carmen with a central spot on 5th Ave. The room is spacious with a nice balcony, and Daniel at the front desk provides excellent service. The beach access is a definite highlight of the property.

The staff were wonderful, and the location was the best with beautiful views. The food was good, but noise from neighboring guests was a hassle at night. The hotel needs updates, had cleanliness issues, and charged for a lost towel. The sea in front was dirty, and the overall experience didn't match the online photos. No wifi in rooms either.

The beachfront location was awesome with lounges and umbrellas provided, close to all the action on 5th avenue and easy access to Cozumel ferry. The breakfast options were pretty good too. The garden area was lovely to chill out in, and watching the sea from there was so peaceful. Just a minor hiccup - the WiFi signal in the room was a bit weak at times, but overall a fab stay! 🏖️

The location of the hotel was unbeatable, with the beach right at our doorstep. It gave us the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. the proximity to various restaurants was a major advantage. We didn't have to worry about finding a place to eat, as there were plenty of options just a short walk away. We loved that the hotel provided lounges on the beach. It was so convenient to have a dedicated spot to relax and soak up the sun.

The lack of complimentary water was a downside. It would have been nice to have access to drinking water without having to constantly purchase it.

The staff were amazing, so friendly and provided great service. The garden view room was comfortable and had good AC. The beach was perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. No problem getting loungers or cold beer brought to us. The included breakfast was good and the restaurant on the beach was a very nice place for morning coffee. Close to the beach, fifth avenue, and the bus stop. Very nice garden view and I can imagine the Seaview rooms will be great!

The spacious suite with a terrace and views of the Caribbean Sea was absolutely stunning. Waking up to the sight of the turquoise waters felt like a dream within a dream. The ambiance was so serene and picturesque, it felt like I was living in a postcard.

My husband and I recently stayed at Pelicano Inn for a week-long vacation. We were blown away by the stunning view from our room and the comfortable beds. The hotel itself was beautifully maintained and the staff, both at reception and in the restaurant, were incredibly kind and accommodating. We also loved the convenient access to the beach, where we felt safe leaving our belongings thanks to the diligent security guard. The location of this hotel is perfect - right on the beach, surrounded by palm trees, and conveniently located in the downtown area. The staff at the reception is welcoming and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed, balcony, and a good refrigerator. Moreover, breakfast is included and features a delicious fruit salad.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a beachfront hotel in Mexico. The location was amazing, with a prime spot right on the beach and gated entry for added security. The hotel itself was beautiful, with lush surroundings and clean, well-accommodated rooms. The staff were professional and the restaurant/bar offered delicious cocktails at happy hour. The best part was the hot and strong water pressure in the shower - a rarity in Mexico. I highly recommend this hotel for a great beach getaway.

The room at Pelicano Inn was amazing! The private terrace with Caribbean Sea views was absolutely stunning. The free bathroom amenities were a nice touch, and the air conditioning made the room super comfortable. I felt like I was living the dream!

Just steps from the beach and a short walk to the bustling pedestrian area with plenty of family-friendly dining and shopping options. The beautiful views of the ocean from our room were truly unforgettable. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, which made our family's stay even more enjoyable.

My wife says that having a kids' club or activities for children would have been a great addition to the hotel's offerings, especially for families with young kids.
